Escape Darkness

Game description :

Escape Darkness is a 2D monochrome platformer that tells the story of Dr. Eren, a scientist devastated by the loss of his wife. In a desperate attempt to change the past, he builds a time-travel machine to find her. Accompanying him on this journey is his faithful cat, Mikasa.

However, due to disturbances in space and time, Dr. Eren and Mikasa find themselves trapped in a strange prison. The prison is filled with bizarre obstacles that they must overcome to escape.

Dr. Eren uses his unique abilities to overcome these challenges: teleporting between positions with the "Ender Pearl" and switching between the present and the past to find a way out of the darkness

As the journey comes to an end, Mikasa undergoes a transformation into a magnificent, majestic version of herself. She reveals the harsh truth to Dr. Eren: "You can’t manipulate time or space. Your wife is gone; you must accept that and leave this darkness behind." Mikasa's message represents Dr. Eren's internal struggle with grief and denial.

Install instructions:

1 - Download the 'EscapeDarkness.zip' file.

2 - Extract to a folder.

3 - Start 'EscapeDarkness.exe'.
